No kidding!

"A has no money," D said.
"How do you know?" I asked puzzled.

"Didn't you have a look inside his refrigerator? It's empty"

"HUH" was my response. A's frig wasn't empty to me as he had some eggs and things in it, and more puzzling was how D defined "having money"! Further more, "What's with D to consider A has money or not"

Well, the latest, I remember, is considered "loving" or "caring", Parental one of course, in the culture I got adapted in. So, they look at you, look for flaws;" oh what's wrong with your eye; it's swollen" " oh, what happened to your skin; it's broozed" " oh, did you cut your self with a knife? your skin is wonded" and so endlessly the list goes on:

flaws,
flaws,
flaws!

And their solution?

hunches

I was asked to take my mother to hospital some days ago, so she could have her MRI done. I took her, but she didn't staye under the machine enough to complete her test. She wanted out after a minute.

The doctor, or technician talked with me about it since she does say none sense stuff a lot when she is talked with. He said, " They are not allowed to force people to do a test when people refuse to do it" I thought that was very interesting. Now, here is my mother, diagnosed as a schizophrenic, not allowed to leave the place she leaves in because she gets lost. But, still is obsereved as a free person , with free choices to make what she wants to do with her life and how she wants to live it.

My uncle said, " I knew it; she shouldn't go with you that is why she didn't take the test."

What can one say to such an hunch!!!? "yes, you're right; I respect the choices she make? I am not a controling Parent like many others?"

TV tells

I was watching TV, and in one episode of a series, the husband was talking about his "having-sex" relationship with his wife to his friends to get their attention or strokes.

Well, as a result, they started talking about his wife, and the wife became the subject of interest. Then his father comes in the room, and the friends start giving clues, so the father asks,"what are you talking about?" Here, the husband, can't share his "having-sex" experience with his father!

Now, when some people think something is not-ok to do, why they do it? It was fun for him to share his experience with his friends, but not with dad! one think can say he knows what he is doing is not-ok for his Parent, but does that to get the negative stroke again, and again!

hard to be bad

It's hard to be a bad persian cook here in Southern California.

I remember while I was living in Iran, a measurment for being a good cook was how well one could cook rice. Rice is an important part of every day nutrition. The point was to cook the rice fully while the rice was still "doon". If you over cooked the rice, it became "shefteh"

"doon rice"

"Shefteh"

While in Tehran, I had to cook the rice to look the best doon.
Well, here in San Diego, when I buy Basmati rice from persian stores, I really have to work hard to make them "shefteh" and they never do!

I've been eating lots of rice regarding my experiment recently. I tried various ways to make the rice shefteh, but it never did.

As a result, it's hard to be a bad Irani cook in Southern California.

Eating Disorders

medium_eat.JPG

Just google it, and you will find various sites devoted to the topic; I lived it.

medium_EatingDisorders.jpg

Some say so, and an interesting point of view toward it I think is the above diagram

As the author of this site 'Eating Disorders' says eating disorder is not an easy battle neither is the treatment.

more of music experiences

Thanks to Lynn, i'm getting to remember stuff from my youngester years.

I remembered going to high school while I listened to this song.

"Cherish the love" by Kool and the gang.

However, I liked the following one a lot as well.

Get Down On it

Actually I preferred it more. Yup! I moved with the beat!

A childhood song

As a kid, I saw my mother dancing a lot, so I learned to dance or to move my body with the rythm I heard. Any way, it was the 70's musics connected to my dancing experiences. Especially this song was one of my favorites.

I remember dancing with the music while trying to copy their movements.

I still like the music and moving with it's beat while I hardly remember their movements. They guy used to swirl a lot!!. And he had such a fuzzy hair. Are those people still alive?

Tonight has been one of those nights. I'm sitting in front of my computer screen for hours doing almost not much but clicking on sites, or those highlighted things. From meiosis and metosis to blog links.

Not that there is any real connection between them, but perhaps blogging reproduction system is operating far greater and faster than real cells ones!!!
