If you dont like blogging, why blog?
I do not disslike blogging; I disslike the blogging's stereotype. I disslike how many people do blog. And I disagree with your solution in general. I have heard a lot people saying, "if you do not like it, do not read it" In my mind that solution is useless since something in the writing, for example, is bothering the person at the first place, and if I am a friend, I would be concered about "what" is/are bothering my friend.
Hope I am more clear now.
I have heard a lot of "if you do not like it, do not...." solution in West, and I think the solution is just a like bandaging a deep wound.

Anyway, i totally agree with you. This statement, 'if you do not like it, do not..." has become a blanket excuse for people doing and saying whatever they like without taking the well being of others into consideration.

I dont think either end of this spectrum is right.
I dont like dentists - but I have to go every now and then.
Then again, if i dont like a blog, I cant be bothered to waste my time so dont read it. Why would I want to?
I had a spam racist on my blog yesterday. I just pressed the delete button. I didnt read everything they wrote (and it was very long) the first para was enough. Why should I read it?

Then we tend to agree to disagree. If I receive a comment on my blog attacking iranians or middleeasterns or muslims or women or any thing which attributes to me, I have options to delete it or let it stay.
In my view, my choice is dependent one more than a simple uni-variable.
